Enhancements To My Experiment

Kanookleheads, your comments and ideas for the latest klog were awesome! I was actually a bit surprised but very excited that you can even advise me in business matters. That's where I am least knowledgable.

Also, I can't tell you how much I appreciate alot of what you guys wrote about just wanting to help out. I especially appreciate the people who offered some of their talents and know how to make things better. I'm going to see what we can do together and may take some of you guys up on your offers. Of course I'll always make sure that proper credit is given to those who do contribute.

The bottom line is that the results on the vote was very close, with spending half on ads and half on upgrading ending just a couple of % points ahead of using 1/3 for each. This, combined with the fact that from alot of the comments it seemed that a contest may have been interesting to some if it had a non-cash prize, made me think that a compromise decision would be a good idea. So I'm going to use $400 for upgrading, $400 for ads and $200 plus non-cash prizes for a contest. Of course I haven't worked out all the details but as soon as I do you'll be the first to know. Well, ok, maybe not the first, probably my sponsor will know first. But then for sure you guys are next!

Updates on things

First I want to thank all of you for helping out choose a chorus for my song in Klog 22. And the last Klog was a lot of fun to do. There were a lot of fun answers from you guys on what Kanookle means. Seems "kooky" won the vote. It was a pretty even match between those of you who think the results of my experiment will be effected because people in the real world act differently than online. 52% of you said that it won't. Good thing, or I'd have to shut this down. :)

A lot of you confirmed my suspician that one of the girls was flirting with me. And, yes, I'm getting on to the speed dating soon. I've checked things out and I'll keep you posted on that.

Also, I'm thinking of doing the Live online show in about a week or so.

And Gabe's hard at work with Abasudika and TiDoSTAR to get the first Kapers video together.

I think it's going to be pretty cool so stick around for that too.

First Kanookle Kapers Auditions Are In

Hey guys, I'm going to try to use this nifty blog thing that I set up more often. It's been ignored for so long that it's crying for attention. Anyway, here's what's going on. As far as the kapers, it's finally closed and we have a few candidates for each part. Head over to the kapers section to get more details about that and to watch and vote on the auditions.

As far as Lauren goes, things have taken a bit of a worse turn. From my understanding the folks backing the project somehow got wind of what's been going on and apparently have decided to kill the film. I'm bummed out about it because that was going to provide a nice extra income for a couple of months. But Gabe is the one who got hurt the most unfortunately. So show Gabe some love. Poor Gabe. Hopefully he won't be back at the Verrazano Bridge over the weekend or anything. Of course we're just joking again about Gabe and his suicidal tendencies. He's actually a great guy who now has more time to deal with kanookle kapers, right Gabe?

My First Blog and Open Mic

Hey guys. I'm going to use this space to keep you updated of things I don't have time to videotape.

I have to apologize again.... I was up all night working and I'm just too tired to go to open mic tonight. I know you're waiting for it. I'm disappointed too, but my body just can't take it.

I'm going to try to find an open mic for earlier in the week so I don't have to wait until next wednesday for it, but just want to let you know. Sorry guys.
