Question #1:
I'm to late for the vote but I think I should still leave a comment cuz I wanna help out. Even if I'm not. So for question one I to think that you should wait till after the burial. The eulogy should (I think) should be taken seriously. Then once he/she is buried go ahead and joke. This is also coming from some one who is only serious when he absolutly needs to be. I am serious when it comes to helping you out the I consider it a "need" for you to get where you wanna get in life...... hmmmmm I don't know if that came out right, but I'm sure you get me. I love the fact that there is no text limit on here. Anyways........

I would have gone with Ensemble #1 it was very profesional. I dress like that every day. Even when I have an interview I still dress the same way. I always get the job by the way so it works for me. :P Anyways I'm about ready to ramble so I'm going to stop typing now..... Damn I love giving my opinion...... and talking/typing...... :S

I started joking about Anna Nicole as soon as I heard. I couldnt help it. Ensemble number 2 is hideous. there's no other word for it. I know I missed the vote and all, but i thought id just rub salt on the wound. :P

How long after someone dies is it okay to make a joke about them?well i personally think that if knew them when ever you think that your ready or if its nice about them then yes course you can i wouldnt care but if its bad i wouldn't but then im not being meen but its not like they are gonna come and get you but if your afraid about the whole heavan and hell thing then i would keep it to yourself...

i missed the vote (as well) but I think you should go with "Casual Jim"-look, or whatever you called it, but I think dark jeans go better with the rest of that outfit than light blue ones ;)

I missed the vote, but I really liked your first outfit. Also, when joking about the deceased, I think that it is fine at the funeral, but no sooner. You should only joke about them in a playful way that you would not mind them hearing, though. You do not want to hurt their family's feelings!

hmm, well depending on how they die... If they die doing something stupid like hmm lets say, having sex with a rhino, then i would say the second you find out they are dead. Now if they didn't do something stupid and got murdered then, maybe after the burial? Common they are dead ofcourse they don't care anymore.

Think of it this way, Kevin Smith had it right when he had the angel say it (and Im paraphrasing of course), "GOD HAS TO HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR, LOOK AT THE WAY THINGS TURNED OUT FOR US WITH SEX. ALL OF THE ODD FACES WE MAKE", well you get my point there I think. I'm sure she is laughing along with us since you really arent meaning any harm.

About the clothes, I hate looking for the proper clothes when it comes to an audition but I will say Ensemble #1 is the way I always go.

I would say to be on the very safe side, wait at least 5 years before making a joke, unless you're joking about making the joke too soon of course, :)
Look at other tragic events of international proportion, such as 9/11. Maybe not a good comparison, but I'm sure you get my point.

the vote is over. but for the whole How Long after someone dies poll, i'd say never. It'd probably hurt others, helping them remember how much they miss them. It doesn't mean you shouldn't ever, but make sure that others are okay (since it can really hurt)
