Now that I've got a headshot, I need to figure out where to submit it so someone like me without much experience has a chance of getting in a movie. Which option is best?
NYU Film School: 44%
New York Film Academy: 32%
Just stick to responding to casting call ads: 13%
I have another idea, obviously you need help: 11%

Please help me choose between different places to submit my headshots.

NYU Film School - Where a lot of professional film-makers come from. Also, probably the hardest place to get in a student film because of so much competition.

New York Film Academy - The most popular shorter film program in New York with a lot of different levels of directors. Might be easier to get in a movie there but it might not be such a good one.

Go to school. If you do that you will not increase you chances of getting a job, but if you don't then you will be always bugged (What if, and If I only, and jadi jadi jada..... you know?)

Get involved with as much stuff as you can and see if you can hook up with a group doing a showcase (or maybe even start one yourself). Almost everybody I know whose gotten their break in the last 5 or so years has done so through a showcase situation.
