How is it that colleges can rape up for our money on BOOKS? And then you sell them back to them for 1/10th of what you bought it for even though you only used it for ONE SEMESTER and you had it wrapped it in plastic and never doodled in it. You take it back to the bookstore and BAM. What do they offer for a $100 book that's 99% brand new? $10. And then they put a "USED" sticker on it and it's back on the shelf for the next fugger and you see it and it says, "USED - REDUCED - $75"

Don't walk too fast... that really helps... freshman usually walk fast to their next class like they're worried about being late or something. That's the easiest way for us (non-freshman) to pick them out. You might also want to figure out where your classes are before school actually starts so you can have a 'yeah, I've done this before, I know where I'm going' appearance and won't come across as 'lost' (another tell tale sign of a freshman) And if all else fails, tell them you're a transfer student. Don't fret, though... I doubt you have much to worry about.

You look like a guy that can defend himself but I wouldn't advise fighting. So I would think you should keep an eye out for anything suspicious and slowly walk away if you think they're on to you.
But, if they catch you.......I would advise.....screaming like a little girl and running as fast as you can. But thats just me.

I'd like to suggest that you put up your guard and fight to the death, but I'm not sure that an upperclassman being mean to you is something worth dying over.
And I'd recommend trying to not look like a freshman, but...don't you think they'd know?
And I'd recommend running...but what good is running?
Honestly, what could they do to you? What's the worse thing that can happen?

accidental homicide for one, that's probably the worst thing that could happen, there's also intentional homicide, that's pretty bad too.
and running is a great way to go, because not only are you saving yourself, but your also working those calves and thighs, ooh ah ah!
and also i dont know if you know(this is to bleek) but running is great cardio, especially when you're doing it in fear!

Wear T shirt with bullseye on it, freshmen in the center, and write with marker beneath: "I have a big brother who likes to brake bones". Carry cassette player on one shoulder and let it play loud QUEEN : Don't stop me now. over ... and over .... and over....

hmm....I find this quite hard to say, but let me try and summarize what my thoughts on the subject are....
Freshmen as we all know it or not are kinda like n00bs, you can't help but pick on them.
So I say this:
No harm can come from blending in, as long as you aren't blatant in your moves..... while that may not make any sense to me, it may to you, so I shall leave it at that ;)

If I could I would say all of the above! The problem with keeping your eyes open for them is you will be overly cautious and not have fun, lets face it don't be ashamed of your freshman status, fight to the death bleek be proud to be a freshman and enjoy it!

I know my freshman year of HS, I was worried about that. But I really had no problems. If anything teachers gave me more BS then students. Talked to freshmeat like we had SLOW printed on our heads. You should have no problems :)
